As you already know in from Argentina, and sometimes I wonder why I didn`t was born in the 60`in Europe. but what a hell, I happy because i can listen to prog anyway, but the prog bands never came to my country and there`s a lot of album that i have to download because there are not edition in here

WHERE DO YOU THINK IS THE PART OF THE WORLD WITH THE LESS INFLUENCES OF PROGRESSIVE MUSIC.

I THINK YOU KNOW MY CHOICE

THERE`S TO MUCH MUSIC AND SO LITTLE TIME TO LISTEN TO IT

I don't agree that South America is the less influenced part... in fact during the 70s after Western Europe, the part of the world that most contributed with prog-rock was South America with a great number of good bands in Brazil, Argentina and Chile.

For me the part less influenced is Africa.

"Había": There were some very good bands. That's why I wrote "Nowadays"

I think Africa, but people there try to cope with different problems...

More important than music I think...

Prog is everywhere. Whilst Africa has produced relatively few true
progressive bands (except for South Africa, obviously), most Afro-rock is
pretty progressive in nature, with side-long tracks, complex polyrhythms
and plenty of soloing.

YES, REAL WORLD RECORDS (of peter gabriel) produced a lot a great artist with a lot of ethnic and proggy influences, YOUSSOU N´DOUR and THE AFRO-CELT CULT are pretty good ones

In this case they influenced us... the main roots of rock are African

P.S.: Africa is not only poverty and misery. There are countries in an average situation there: Namibia, Botswana, Gabon. Also Angola with the end of the Civil War has a great opportunity to grow. The potential of countries like South Africa, Nigeria, Mozambique, Madagascar is great too.
