I think Soft Machine has some of the best instrumental recordings ever, but I also love King Crimson's, Can's, and Camel's!

Stands between ELP and Pink Floyd, my vote goes to Pink Floyd. They have slight edge.

I would say King Crimson. They always have a couple instrumentals per
album and they are always great.

my top choice would no doubt go to mike oldfield who is purly instrumental. hes the best, and most ungiue instrumental band. camals snow goose is a very good one too.

Camel are brilliant too though! They deserved a place in that list... ELP are also amazing!

 

...To all those who voted for Genesis - DaMn! Genesis' instrumentals exist only to give Peter Gabriel some time to change costumes between (or during) songs! Duh!

Well, I like Genesis aswel but they got like 600+ votes! wtf?
