I love Rush live covers of Crossroads, Heart Foul Of Soul, and The Seeker, among a others...

Also, I really enjoy listening to DT live covers of Perfect Strangers, The Rover, Achilles Last Stand, The Song Remains The Same, YYZ, and Tears, among a few...

live album covers that stand out as being good:

King Crimson -- USA; Mahavishnu -- Between Nothingness and Eternity; Miles Davis -- Miles in Berlin (that's got to be the coolest photo of Davis ever).

covers that stand out as being bad:

Yes -- 9012Live; Zappa's 'You Can't Do That On Stage Any More' series (some photos would have been nice); Rush in Rio; Jethro Tull -- A Little Light Music.

Genesis Live is a haunting cover.  I'm just facinated by Gabriel standing there with that strange headpiece with the pinkish highlight and the blue lighting.

Just cool!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned La Gazza Ladra, that is a fantastic cover.

Yes it does. The studio album has the picture with the mirrors, and the live disc has that cool photo of a racing car made out of studio equipment
