I know how it feels to quit and want to "try" it one more time. That first time you do it after a long break, months or years, is the best high ever. I buy a nickle bag once a month, but I let it last me about a week with 2-3 bowls a night. I quit for a year once but I thought there was no reason to quit forever since I'm not horribly addicted to it.

Smoking that first night after you took a 2-3 week break is just as good as smoking for the first time after a 1 year break.

I love prog no more than usual because of drugs, prog's great with or without weed.

By the way I recomend this as the smoking schedual,  Yes i do make one before I smoke, this is my favorite one

While I'm smoking - Achilles last stand - Led Zeppelin

After the smoking has ended, usually right when Achilles is over, I go to:

  1. Ummagumma - Live Disk
  2. Atom Heart Mother - After the suite I go to Alan's Psycadelic Breakfast
  3. Lizard
  4. Either Darkside or Wish You Were Here, what ever I'm in the mood for.

This is my usuall music schedual, I love it, and sometimes I'll put in a quick smoking break after an album or two, I only smoke 3 bowls from my bubbler before all of this and if I take a break in between an album I'll have 1 or 2 more bowls.

After all. why do psychedelic plants grow? must be for a reason no? if they were bad, God or whomever wouldnt of put them on earth no? if you say "god brought us war", well god brought US, who brought war... But all those plants of nature... They are not the anti-christs people... They are here for a purpose. maybe they are a lens to another dimension... maybe we have to make more use of them to BREAK ON THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE.

MY first experience I had with Prog was thanks to smokin'  and  DT my first and only musc I heard during that time. But I don't do it no more. It makes you dumb

No, its been 3 weeks since I have got to go through my perfect list, I love it so much, I hope someone else here makes good use of it and can revise it better, if possible.

nah. makes the person who doesnt use it wisely dumb. some one who uses drugs wisely can accomplish things of great nature.. you know the human mind and desire is the strongest weapon, we accompish things depending on what we want from it. if you want "fun" from drugs and take em everyday without taking anything youve learned from it. then ya, youll become dumb... It sounds like you've been eating alot of asparaguss with spoons. Either that or your just high.

It's true.  As many of us know, mary jane fueled a lot of the creativitity in progressive and other music in the late 60's and throughout the 70's.  I can personally vouch for the creativity it instills, from bands I used to be in.  It opens doors to the mind and inspires unique ways of approaching music.

There will always be those doubters who will attack what they don't know.  They haven't experienced something personally, so they have to base their knowledge on information from other people.  Unfortunately, these days, most of the information about weed is based on lies claiming it's "harmful effects".  Truth is, alcohol is much more dangerous, from it's addictiveness, greater loss of control that it can cause, false sense of security (greater likelihood of getting behind the wheel in a car), and tendency towards physical abusiveness and/or depression.

Spark it up and turn it on! 

P.S.  There'd be a lot less stress, anger, and political b.s. in this world with more majihuchy around.  It helps treat tension and insomnia too.

let me guess, you had to use drugs to reach this level of conscience. I almost feel sorry for you, you make people that use drugs look like the people that abuse drugs.

I think the problem we have here is that like most things its a very subjective topic! It is known world wide that people can  react very differently to the use of weed. I love it to be honest, but i have seen some people have very different experiences. I do however personally feel that it enhances many things for me! But we only ever get to know ourselves inside and out, I think because of that there is no need to strive to understand another person's way of thinking on something you will undoubtletly never truly undestand as it is not your own.

 I love to feel things the best I can without too much risk( or at least one im willing to take) in most situations. When listening to music i personally find myself at my best whilst smoking with my friends! We have a great laugh and allow ourselves to become subjects too the mix of the sound and the drugs. We all post here because of our appreciation for this music. And everyone listens to it differently. When someone says they never use drugs whilst listening music I never try to explain that they are missing out, I just hope they are listening in the best way they can for themselves!

I know where this is going to this tread. I've bought some hasj today so I'm not against. BUT I DON'T think that being stoned or high adds something to the MUSIC. It adds something to your conciousness. You're experiencing everything (so also the music) in a different way, the same as when you're drunk.. you're really up to dancing on crappy music or something.

Conciousness that's the thing. But with that, some music is more appealing to you (when drunk stupid music, for example), psychedelica is one thing that has that communication with being high stoned whatever you call this. It is a part of prog rock. BUT it DOESN'T change the music, I enjoy camel anyways, so..

That's some pretty bad logic. Lava exists naturally on the earth, does that mean we should ingest that too? And how about sharp rocks and feces while we're at it?

I'm not strongly anti-weed or anything, but sometimes the so-called justifications for doing it are pretty funny.
