Pink Floyd, mainly because the decline of Genesis since the "good old days" has been worse, IMO.

Not easy to pick because I like both, but I plump for Pink Floyd, as if
I rated a top 5 of both groups albums in order of preference I think it
would be:
Animals;
Wish You Were Here;
Selling England by The Pound;
Trick of the Tail;
Dark Side of the Moon
...which on any points basis puts Floyd higher.

Strange poll...
Two superb bands playing DIFFERENT music.
However my vote goes to Floyd - my first prog band!

Wait I just have to say something to this...
I'm gonna chose GENESIS because no one can display the emotions that
Gabriel and the band did IMO.

One likes to believe
In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion
Of integrity

Poor Genesis, after having lost aginst Yes and Gentle Giant, they seriously risk against a psychedelic band...can't believe it!

Seems to me like bands in different genres probably should not be compared, but I like listening to Genesis more so my vote goes to Genesis.

If anyone knows where I can get a copy of some Flute and Voice (Indo-Prog/Raga Rock) albums please PM me! Many thanks!

I would say, I prefer Genesis (and I could easily add: anytime). For me
Pink Floyd were always a little bit 'cold' or so (it's exactly the
opposite meaning to some of you, but people are different, aren't
they?).
Not that I have anything against Floyds (Wish You Were Here is great),
but as I said above: give me Selling England By The Pound or Foxtrot
and I'll be happy :-)
