Hello everyone

I have written and recorded a new song – Stormy Skies – please feel free to have a listen via the link below and your feedback on the song all areas (guitars, vocals, lyrics, melody / harmonies, dynamics etc) is most welcome

Lyrics

Each word you speak to me makes me now believe, makes me start to dream

Sometimes the doubts still fill my mind

Was it just a dream or just another broken lie?

I will travel to the distant future, I will travel to the distant sun

Someday I’ll fly away

Now the feelings deep within my soul will be the guide into my conscious thoughts

Someday I’ll fly away

Everyday I start to cry

Searching for answers I must find

Everyday I question why

My life is like the stormy skies

Each time you come to me, deep inside my heart I feel were apart

Once we were stronger every day

Now it seems the memory has slowly ebbed away

I will travel to the distant future, I will travel to the distant sun

Someday I’ll fly away

Now the feelings deep within my soul will be the guide into my conscious thoughts

Someday I’ll fly away

Everyday I start to cry

Searching for answers I must find

Everyday I question why

My life is like the stormy skies

Nice guitar work. The MP3 doesn't play very well on my PC, which may be just my PC - the vocals sound a bit muffled and it breaks up in places.
Not really my sort of music but it's very professionally done. Needs some drums though!

well i only got to hear the intro..then it stoped working....

Honestly I dont like it. The two seperate guitar lines dont correspond in volume, and in notation, and also they are not on beat....

Plus i really dont like that kind of music....
But The ideas are there. Just polish them and it willl be good.

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

Thanks for taking a listen and posting your comments  I did struggle a little bit with the timing on the intro
