Hmm you're right ... there's a more attractive picture of king of siam here ...

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

Heh heh ... that's actually King Mongkut ... played in historically innaccurate films by Yul Brenner and ChowYuen Fatt (The King And I and Anna And The King!)

Question maiden!

Which is the best Post Fear Of The dark IM album?

Brave New World is the best maiden album ever!!!

The best pre-FOTD is powerslave

And you look really cool Snow Dog btw

Thanks darling

But the best pre FOTD is 7th son of 7th son!

Well songs like Can i play with madness and the Evil that men do drag it a bit down IMO...have you got the newer releases by maiden?

What's so wrong with those songs? I quite like them... Anyway IMO the best pre-FOTD album is Number Of The Beast. The power... the energy... It's also my favorite non-prog metal album ever!

Is it always a good thing to be prog Longer tracks do not mean prog btw. Plus, 7th son and SIT  have hits like above named Can I Play With Madness, Evil That Men Do, Wasted Years, and Stranger In A strange Land, which could be considered filler by some(not that I like them any less).

Why?

Filler isn't quite the right word, as you said Can I Play With Madness and Evil That Men Do drag down 7th Son, but Aces High and 2 Minutes To Midnight drag down Powerslave just as much. And they're all awesome songs  The only big plus Powerslave has is Rime, but that's not enough to make it the best album, does it?

@Doc: Well, maybe its the similar intelligence & humor... Well, thats rather good for me, Or bad for You! Plus we both love Our Morning coffee, don't we?

I told ya Ed,you look just like those Emo boys that come to my house wanting to see my 15 year old daughter.

Its OK, Ed.  I'm often told I look emo, too.  I don't quite get why.  I guess it's just assumed that all dudes with long hair are emo.
