I'm so sorry Genesis are loosing all the one-o-one polls...but it's impossible to me to vote something different from VdGG! I'd suggest Genesis against some weaker band to give'em a victory they deserve! |
Here's your chance: Genesis vs. Milli Vanilli. What's your choice?

Van Der Graaf Generator, they are the best prog band. It progs harder then any prog band i have ever heard and i love it. Peter "God" Hammill's voice is one of the best ever. I knew it when i heard my first VDGG song "White Hammer" this is the best. Is there realy anyone who can say Peter H is not the best song writer prog has ever hade? I dont think so.

Although I think that there's no comparison between Genesis and Van Der Graaf Generator (they're so different!), my vote went to Van Der Graaf Generator. I love both bands, but Van Der Graaf is actually my favourite.

Haven't heard much VDGG (so I didn't vote) but what I have heard, I wasn't thrilled with.
Plus, I'm pretty confident that no other band can hold a place in my heart like Genesis.

I agree it's a no-brainer, but vote for the opposite!

I'd easily go for Van der Graaf Generator, they just had a much better album to album quality.

VDGG is a phenomenal band!
Genesis is still the "acrophobe" for as far as progressive rock goes...
