No. Don't like his work, but I dislike censorship of art even more.

Censorship is wrong unless it benefits our youth.
Now, now, its time to get rid of one awful thing

No way - despite all the negative comments in the press, I've never heard even the slightest rumour that he borrowed a neighbour's garden tools and didn't give them back, so he can't be all bad.
Unlike P.Diddy (or whatever he calls himself these days) who borrowed Dr Dre's pruning shears in 1997 and still hasn't returned them.

Let's face it, rappers are essentially bottom-feeders who should be in jail, and probably would be were it not for their rap careers. I can't believe how people idolize those without any redeeming qualities whatsoever. I didn't vote, because my choice to have them all shot did not appear on your list.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

my goodness, what a terribly talentless performer! I suppose you can't
ban someone for being tasteless, I just hope his music will someday
just all go away.

Definitely not.
Banning someone is one of the best ways of guaranteeing disproportionatley high record sales - and someone like 50 cent doesn't deserve the controversy he obviously wants for self-publicity.
Let everyone hear how crap he is.

Sadly you are right.
But if he's banned, then there is a large proportion of (generally young) people who think that being banned is either cool or some kind of respectworthy thing.
It worked like a charm for the Sex Pistols.

I really don't care. I don't think he is good for culture in the world, but censorship is something that is repeatedly taken too far. I think that one should be able to speak as much as he wants, but he can't prohibit any other speech either. Too many times in the U.S. only have of this is fullfilled. So many groups have unlimited speech, but anyone with an unpopular opinion is silenced.

Nope.
Censorship = the bane of society, IMO.

I think the guy's a total pantload, but I wouldn't ban him. I just choose to ignore him, that works for me.
