Brian for me, but I could have voted for Alex Lifeson as well. You should also have included Hendrix as an "emotional" guitarist.

Proper emotional guitarists are really just playing blues so you might as well add Stevie Ray Vaughan because he is the best blues guitarist...EVER!!

For me it's Peter Green, ex Fleetwood Mac, for pure emotion. But from this list it has to be Dave Gilmour.

Tie between Latimer and Gilmoure, but I voted latimer, cause I think he
would sound better than gimour if I had the same setup. If I could
choose freely, I'd say Gary moore or Paul gilbert

LATIMER!!!!!!!!
But Gilmour is good as well and Hackett a close 3rd (should be here, as should Rothery). I presume putting Petrucci on anything to do with emotion is a joke, isn't it??? The man's a robot; terrific technique but zilch in the way of feel or emotion. Fits DT perfectly.

Gilmour, definitely. But IMO, Lifeson's a respectable second place. The
solo on "La Villa Strangiato" on Exit...Stage Left has almost brought
me to tears before.

Gilmour or Latimer? I voted Gilmour, but it could have been Latimer too.
