I'm getting interested in prog rock with vocals in Spanish.

Can someone help me out ? Which bands/albums are considered classics ?

It doesn't have to be just bands from Spain. They can come from South America as well.

Thanks for your suggestions.

  • Psicotropia (Spain)
  • Matraz (Chile)

Try with:

Humus (Mexico)
El Diablo (Mexico)
Cabezas de Cera (Mexico)
Mezquita (Spain)
Canarios (Spain) They have just one album but it's really a masterpiece...
La Maquina de hacer Pajaros (Argentina)
Matraz (Chile)
Fulano y Congreso (Chile) This band are closer to jazz fusion but they are really good, specially Fulano's "En en Bunker" and Congreso's "Maestranza de Noche"
Los Jaivas (Chile) "Alturas del Macchu Picchu" is a classic!!
Anagrama (Argentina)
Mar de Robles (Chile)
Perfume de Mujer (Cuba)
Sarax (Chile)
A Barca do Sol (Brasil)
III Milenio (Brasil)

I don't remember anymore... I will check my archives...
