A for the poll,
a for GG (deee-licious),
and a for Bon Jovi (preeee-dictable)
We need more of these sensible polls, don't you think, y'all?

This is the silliest poll I have ever seen.
It's hard to take it serious.
Gentle Giant is miles above Bon Jovi, what is nothing more than a boyband with guitars.

Well, then you should, and asap, if you like prog.
Gentle Giant and Bon Jovi cannot really be compared at all. It's like comparing a Caravaggio with, say, a daubing by a schoolboy. I don't think I need to say which is which.

Yeah Gentle Giant is prog -Bon Jovi is glam hard rock hair metal band-thats the only reason

I believe GG's Derek Sulman signed Bon Jovi.
Honestly. progressive rock is complex to that of Jazz and Classical and GG created some of the most complex prog material.
Heavy Metal is basically rock and rock roll/rockabilly, like Elvis, Chyck Berry etc.
However, as this genre had its share of Pat Boones that made it accessible to one's parents and women, Bon Jovi did the same for Heavy metal.
My votes goes to GG
