Yes but they have lots of progressive elements and they can doubtlessly be called prog-metal!

Roy Khan destroys every other prog metal singer. Save Geoff Tate, but Queensryche is barely prog.

LaBrie is phenomenal imo. I'm not big on these Geoff Tate wannabes, I don't even like the original.

LaBrie. Saw him 2 days ago, he was absolutely perfect. Hitting ALL notes, with power and emotion. And he IS the voice of DT.
