"Oh, yes, sitting-the great leveler. From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?"

Perhaps "Rumor" from Triana on their second album "Hijos del agobio"? It's about the freedom after Franco his dictatorship and was embraced by many young  people in those days (second half of the Seventies).

Well, Triana, Mezquita,... in these bands the lyrics are gypsy like, with strong Andalusian accent; at least for me is not that clear and nice to listen to...

Spanish prog, overall, has significantly less vocals than about any other country i can think of. but if you're just looking for prog out of Spain, i can recommend these highly:

Mezquita - Recuerdos De Mi Tierra
Atila - Intencion + Reviure
Amarok - Mujer Luna
Eduardo Bort - s/t
Feliu i Joan Albert - s/t
Formas - Largos Suenos
Fusioon - s/t
Fusioon - Minorisa
Granada - Valle del Pas
Ibio - Cuevas de Altamira
Metamorfosis - Papallones I Elefants
Omni - El Vals de Los Duendes
Crack - Si Todo Hiciera Crack
Granada - Espana, Ano 75
Gualberto - Vericuetos
Iceberg - Sentiments
Iman Califato Independiente - s/t
Medina Azahara - Paseando por la Mezquita
Medina Azahara - La Esquina del Viento
Vega - Andaluza

one of the very best countries for prog. they really didn't start until '75 - but, wow, when they did...

Xanadu wants Spanish language; Atila has Catalan lyrics, and probably these too: Feliu i Joan Albert, Papallones i Elefants, Sentiments.

sorry about atila. although not a whole lot of vocals there at all. the others are instrumental.

just trying to fire up some interest for prog in your country, which is incredible.

I meant to mention that. Fusioon’s Minorisa is also in Catalan (probably a first for a rock band, as Catalan was heavily suppressed during the Franco regime). Papallones i elefants and Sentiments are instrumentals. Actually, though the band were Catalan, the first Iceberg album features lyrics in Castilian (and English).
