PINK FLOYD "Animals"
Review (Permanent link) by Joćo Ribeiro @ 9:03:58 PM EST, 10/12/2005 I'm sory David Gilmour, but there's another one by Roger Waters. The genius of the band made another memorial to the music. This album's lyrics are fantastic. A very well written critique to the society. Pigs, Dogs and Sheeps. The priests, the politians, every one was criticised here. Waters is the leader of this farm.
PINK FLOYD "The Wall"
Review (Permanent link) by Joćo Ribeiro @ 8:46:31 PM EST, 10/12/2005 A 5 stars album... The best album from one of the best bands ever. My favorite one too.p Another Brick in the Wall ( all ), Mother,Goodbye Blue Sky, Hey You, Nobody Home, Vera, Comfortably Numb, In the Flesh, The Trial ( fantastic ).p The both two cds are gorgeous. In brief, there is the genius of Roger Waters working hard. Brilliant...
GENTLE GIANT "Gentle Giant " Review (Permanent link) by Joćo Ribeiro @ 8:24:55 PM EST, 10/12/2005 This was the first album that i'd listen of this band. At the first listening session, i conclude that this is one of the best prog band ever. With an uncommon opus and logical music, Gentle Giant was built-up by music masters, with a musical sense highly developed. They deserve a place in the hall of fame of prog music, but they had not the highlight due.
I laughed my a** off when I read the Animals review not sure if the other two are inappropriate though. |

GENESIS "Selling England By The Pound"
Review (Permanent link) by Kevin @ 6:35:21 PM EST, 10/17/2005 Wow- I have to admitt:
I used to HATE Genesis- now I can't get enough of them! This album is simply wondeful- its a piece of art! What can i say that hasnt already been said a million times over? This album cathes me with its Lyrics- its emotion- the music seems timeless. Although I have only listened to this album about 15 times- I know I will enjoy it a hundred more.. Thank you Genesis! A review?!!?! I don't know.

though technical not a review but the opinion is clear and surely not excagerated
reviews are important, and those should remain the core of the site, but nontheless backed up ratings shouldn,t be discarded. It is a very valid validation of the awarded 4 star rating
please worry bout the inapropriate ratings and leave these kinds of ratings (and their whimsiclism ) reviews intact. |

It's a poor review, and doesn't comply with the guidelines. I hear what you say Tux, but with the hundreds of reviews of that album already, that one offers nothing.

This has to be one of the funniest, and most nonsensical ones I've come across! WAKEMAN, RICK "Crimes of Passion O.S.T." Surely Wakeman's masterpiece in keyboardry and gugguration!!! There's no other else album which captures his master skills in an aborbinatic way! It's just fantastic and unbelievable... I can't see any album better than that in music history
not even the Sgambells ever recorded something like that... a masterpiece (and not only in prog music, but in the history of human expression) ____________________________________________________________ ___________________

And apart from a one star rating only (no review) for another Wakeman album, it's his only review to date. Surely even an online translator wouldn't come up with words like gugguration and aborbinatic. Whatever happened to the Sgambells anyway? |

MEISEL, HUBI "EmOcean"
Review (Permanent link) by MJZ @ 10:40:43 PM EST, 10/18/2005 Hubi's music ( especially from EmOcean) gives the true meaning of progressive to Progressive Rock Music. He is the BEST of the best. You should be open to buy this cd. there is no other like it here in this planet. I actually have to give it only five stars because this is the highest rating available now.
