Don´t worry about the podium. It doesn´t show the reality at all. I don´t see Metamorfosi´s "Inferno" anywere either. I also see 2 Camel albums in the first 20 and 2 of the best Banco´s albums around the 80 place.
Well. "Close to the edge´s" prog -po is number one. ...So, if Thick as a brick is not number 3, it doesn´t mean "Dark side" with it´s non-progressive songs is better.

Personally... I think "DSOTM" has wider appeal than Thick as a
Brick...of course that doesn't mean its better.....although yes, I do prefer it......

Personally i think TAAB is better than any album on the podium at the moment
