I have a new CD Baby site where you can hear soundfiles from all the tunes on my new album, UFOsmosis:

Also I will be playing in Alexandria, VA on 10/8:

The Society of Art Rockers (SOAR) continues their Art Rock Concert Series at the Old Town Theater in Alexandria on Saturday October 8, 2005 featuring two artists: Cyndee Lee Rule and Thee Maximalists. Tickets are $12 and the show will begin at 10:00 PM.

Cyndee Lee Rule (aka Violin Cyndee) (http://www.soundclick.com/pro/?BandID=360501) is a classically-trained violinist who enjoys playing spacerock! She is playing as a guest with Spaceseed and Harvey Bainbridge on some of their Clouds Over Titan tour dates (but unfortunately not our date on September 30) and is also the spaceviolinist for the Philly-area spacerock band, Scattered Planets. Playing solo for our show, Cyndee plays a 5-string Mark Wood Viper, a KILLER electric violin, shaped like a Flying-V guitar. She also use a Zoom 606 guitar pedal to change the tone dramatically, so that sometimes it sounds like a heavy-metal guitar and other times it sounds like a classical violin.

Thee MaXimalists are a new instru-mental group. They mostly play as an improvising guitar, bass and drums trio that brings together elements of Present, (Keith Macksoud - Bass) The Muffins, (Paul Sears-Drums) and Stinking Lizaveta (Yanni Papadopoulos - Guitar). First brought together in late 2003 by Paul Sears & Keith Macksoud for a studio recording, they bring together a wealth of influences and the result is a full & intense sound that could be compared to latter day King Crimson in improv mode, Fred Frith's Massacre, early Tony Williams Lifetime, and other contemporary instrumentalists. Though definitely a part time project for these 3 well known players, they had so much fun in the studio, they decided to play live. They plan to record this, their third ever live performance.

The Old Town Theater is located at 815 ½ King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.

Hope to see you there!

Cyndee
