Frippertronics guitar synth

   Ive been looking at the price ranges for various guitar synths, and often in the description it mentions emulating frippertronics or some such and ive always seen plenty of reference to Frippertronics. So basically, can you actually purchase a frippertronics rig? I searched briefly to no avail, and if you can usually how much are they, and how is the preformance in comparison to other guitar synths?

	As far as I know, there is no single rig. Buy a looper and an Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress and you will be on your way....

	Perhaps a suitable solution can be to use a long delay (Frippertronics usual delay was about 5 seconds) and set a high feedback to it, around 90, 95%. In this case sound will be repeated layer by layer, fading gently and giving place to further recording. In the Roland Gp100 it woks well (5sec). NEvertheless the best would be an Eventide rack (any of the Harmonizer series) which would deliver delays up to 30 seconds and more (many expansion memories). Actually is not technically Frippertronic itself, more soundscape Hope it can help. By the way I'm a looper searcher

	yes, but i would highly suggest getting a guitar synth, and volume pedal....But really all the delay units and such are only going to be of use if you are doing soundscapes live. Otherwise I do just fine using an analog recorder for a track at a time
