So far it's Pendragon, but I have a feeling it could be Renaissance by the end of the week.

I knew about Yes, Genesis, ELP etc....but I didn't know about Van Der Graaf Generator until I visited the site for the first time last year, so that's it!

Camel, IQ, Echolyn, Banco -- to name just a few of the standouts.Big smile

Plus, I "re-connected" with Van Der Graaf Generator (first time hearing them since a teen), and my seasoned adult ears "got it," this time!Smile

PS: See "Fortunate Finds" for a prior version of this thread.

I would have given 10:1 you'd say that.

Well it's quite true! I was blown away when I heard them, and have been voraciously grabbing every related band/project I can find since. I remember when I first listened to Maltid I just thought "WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!"

VDGG and Dün.

Followed very closely by a myriad of others.

Edit: Oh wait, I forgot Samla Mammas Manna, and Taal, and...

''Your favorite'' posts are my bane, I could list bands and songs for years and not get close to an end.
