Moreover, in the 'trivia game' page you will find two topics of interest for you : 'Ron Jarzombek' and 'Serious young insects'. If you are a true metal-prog fan, you should answer the questions without difficulty.

Much as I have tried, i just cannot get into this band. I like Portnoy but the singer puts me off. Its just a tad too heavy for my old delicate ears.

I think they are a great group. I don't want to talk about how much they prog or the likes. All i know is that i can listen to them for a whole day and never get bored. Same with Jethro Tull.

Firstly i was not pleased with their turning to smt harder in their last 2 albums. But with time i came to like them! especially ToT and the 2nd cd of 6doit are great. ToT gave me the impression of the dirty side of DT. Whilst 6 degrees of inner turbulance made me think and imagine , like scenes from a memory.

I'm worried that from now on -because of their age- they will produce cd's not because they have smt new to say but to remind us that they still exist and play. To be honest i expected that from ToT but they proved me wrong! I wish they keep impressing me!

For someone who has never really gotten into Dream Theatre, could you veterans of their music please recommend me some of their better albums?

What would be the first one that I buy?
