Sorry Tomek (Wolf Spider), but 'short hair' is most typical of our society(when talking about men), so I don't have to comment on that.. . You can always grow Your hair or simply shave it- to single out(You can also dye it, say on pink- to follow Michał Wi¶niewski's example- which is NOT my advice ) . One way or another, the person who listens to prog, undoubtedly has different, interesting characteristics! (at least I believe so )

So true. I have the beginnings of a sixth finger on my left hand.

To be honest (if this 'weird green creature' is the illustration of Yours) I'm afraid that You have only 4 fingers.. Let's say 8 fingers in general when it comes to hands..

Yes, in my age

Well, it's quite typical for men in my age on Silesia - I study in
Chorzow and I spend some time in Katowice, there is awful air
pollution...

To be serious, it's a family tradition, you know

Yep- men in our region (Silesia) turn bald quite quickly- but don't worry Pablo- the most important is the fact, that WE LISTEN TO BEST MUSIC in Poland (all in all Silesia is the cluster of music admirers) not to mention, that we have Spodek Kwadraty Megaclub in the vicinity of our place of residence. Men with long hair look handsome, but without them untypical (in positive aspect of this word)

Know what you mean. I'm also a big jazz fan and there's plenty of jazz concerts in Warsaw, but prices being what they are...

Apart from that, let's stick to the Beksiński thread when we want to alienate people who don't speak Polish and let's keep all the other threads English.

It's a pity very few (if any) companies allow it.

I have hair down to my mid back, sideburns to my jawbone and a goatee. I originally planned to have a full beard, but that is hard work and unless I join a touring band anytime, I will keep the facial hair shorter as it isn't worth it being an everyday joe :)

As far as work is concerned, I will most definetely have to cut it, but since i'm going to be teaching on a secondary education level (college level is my goal later) I think i'll be able to get by with growing it back out later.

late addition... sorry, it never took my attention before (I have it long, btw)

and more inetrestingly, I bumped into this topic while searching for a possible discussion about Hair musical, or movie Tongue... apparently, none of you guys ever even thought of it being progressive! (I won't advocate it, though it wouldn't kill me to be included under various artists...)

I started to grow my hair immediately after high school (by which time it was forbidden to grow hair for guys!) and during college years I rarely cut it (two or three times for no apparent reason, and once for practice teaching)... After college, I had to cut once more for part-time teaching (you see, male teachers can't grow hair down here!), once again for the military service, and only once after coming back, because I was discharged in July and it was too hot to try to grow again Smile ...

What really grabbed my attention here is that girls' percentage here is only %6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is prog a "man" thing, as Bob Greece asked in another thread???

P.S. I also like to keep my facial hair. I usually have it goatee (mostly due to the fact that I almost have none on my cheeks!!!). And shaving beard was the most irritating thing I had to do throughout my military service...

Hail hair!
Listen to Turkish psych/prog; you won't regret:
Baris Manco,Erkin Koray,Cem Karaca,Mogollar,3 Hürel,Selda,Edip Akbayram,Fikret Kizilok,Ersen (and Dadaslar) (but stick with the '70's, and 'early 80's!)
