Definately Dio, i hate Ozzy and his lack of vocal skill.

I could say DIO
I prefer the voice of Dio and I think that he is better singer and made better songs.
What about Ozyy? Ozyy was a better frontman.

Ozzy is always be Black Sabbath's voice, although he's not the most accomplished of Sabbath's siinger - this would be Glenn Hughes. My choice was Ozzy, by the way.

For the sake of Black Sabbath- Ozzy.

For the sake of who's better- Dio.

Ozzy...

Ray Gillen,Rob Halford .

Now seriously.....Ozzy is mentioned here because the albums that were made with him are Sabbath's best period...Allthough mine is with Dio....

But really....Tony Martin is a great singer and they have done some really nice albums with him....Ian Gillan was great too, even though he changed the band's style completely and his vocals weren't compatible with their musical style..

I remember seeing Sabbath with Dio, way back.

It started with the lights down, heavy, ominous music swelled out of the darkness as the band kicked into gear, the lights came up revealing Tony, Geezer and Bill all clad in black leather and shiny, silver chain. And then out pranced Dio, half their size and dressed in the colours of the rainbow. It was almost homourous- till he started singing.

Although Dio has a much better voice than Ozzy, there was none of that devilish power that Ozzy put into the classics. I think Iommi may have realised this and the albums they made with Dio  reflect the style change to suit. Dio was at his best with Blackmore- that was a much better partnership of talents. Fantasy, not evil suits Dio.

Now Gillian, on the other hand, at least knew how to put the evil in the songs- I still get shivers every time I listen to Born Again (is that the name of it?).

Sabbath without Ozzy wasn't Sabbath.

ps. Ozzy is not the devil - Iommi is...

By the way, nobody mentioned Ray Gillen, impressive vocalist of Bandlads and who recorded some demos with the band before Tony Martin became official member.

sorry my friend but Iommi is Black Sabbath and nobody else.

+1

Ozzy es the worst singer on the poll, but the genuine Sabbath was the band who recorded Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality, Vol. 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Sabotage. However, I vote for Ronnie James.
