"The Most beautiful Woman in Town" is
my favorite collection by Bukowski. I like his prose better than his
poetry, but not by much.

Just picked up the complete "Watchmen", which I haven't read in decades. I hope it's as good as I remember.

I've just started 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' by Philip K. Dick.

Dick's best works are "Ubik" and "The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch", in my opinion. I also like his "Valis" trilogy. |

Palmer Eldrich and Ubik are absolutely amazing. Do Androids... is also among the better ones I've read (yet not in TOP5); it has many themes that were erased from the film Blade Runner which has quite a different (humourless!) touch all over. |

Anything by Michael Moorcock or Nigel Tranter does me. I once read Cosmos by Carl Sagan, only problem was, most of what he wrote went way above my head, but it was interesting.

Yeah. Elric rules. Loved Moorcock's lyrics for BOC too.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

You should like Hawkwind's "Chronicle of the Black Sword" and the live album "Live Chronicles" then, which are based on the Elric saga. and if you can get a copy of "The New World's Fair" by Michael Moorcock and the Deep Fix (consisting mostly of members of Hawkwind and High Tide), do it. a very interesting record (which should definitely be added to the archives, by the way) Edited by BaldJean |

I've seen her speak. Pretty amusing stuff. Part of the show came close to a stand up comedy routine. I certainly don't agree with all of her views, but a few of her ideas I do support, such as her views on racial profiling (pro), her views on the Arab nations (con), and her views on unmarried women getting child support (con). |
