Most gripping lyric-line?

"...As they nibble the fruit of my flesh, I feel no pain; only a magic that a name would stain..."

I've always loved that last phrase.

Well staying on this Genesis track...there are a few:

"I would welcome a horse's kick to send me back, if I could find a horse not made of sand."

"Now as the river dissolves in sea, so Neptune has claimed another soul" and finally,

"You're old and disillusioned now as you realize at last, that all you have accomplished here will have soon all turned to dust."

I cannot say just one gripping line, there are so many for me...here's a few:

"so the pride/of little men/the burghers good and true/still living thru the painter's hand/request you all to understand" KC - The night watch

"And they're giving me a wonderful potion/'cause I cannot contain my emotion" and "This is the supper of The Mighty One/Lord of Lords, King of Kings/has returned to lead His children home/to take them to the new Jerusalem" Genesis - Supper's ready

"coming quickly to terms of all expression laid/as a moment regained and regarded both the same/emotion revealed as the ocean maid" Yes - And you and I

there are too many to list

Whenever I hear these opening words............"Oops I did it again" I drop to my knees and pray directly to the lord- and thank him for the talent that amazing person displays.

OK- done with the cynical remarks....for now.
