Britain and former parts of the British Empire. I don't think anywhere else cares.
|
isn't america a former part of the british empire?
|
Not entirely, there was much more Dutch and Spanish (and others, I don't know who) involvement in the development of the US, although I suppose since the beginning of the US was entirely former British, you're right enough. The lack of cricket is probably to do with the early independence won. My brother plays cricket and he lives in New York though!
And I didn't say all former parts, either!
...think I wriggled out of that one!

If we all just ignore Tang, maybe he will go away. I know I've fallen into the trap of communicating with the imbecile myself, but as Miracle said, don't feed the troll.
|
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

tan62: i am proficient and generally knowledgable of a variety of history. just tell me what you mean by an empire, because i find it hard to believe that you think america has never been at least partially under british control (around the 1600s -late 1700s)

Interestingly, it seems that all the states that declared independence at the time were British owned. Shows how much they loved us eh?

A wonderful performance by the trousered one!One of the greatest PA Forum stings of all time!!!
Sometimes a little bit of guile is needed instead of brute force.
Calling Tang a Celt disguised as you know what was pure genius.

I realise that this guy has now been banned, but I just wanted to say
that he has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to that
comment about South Africa.
And for the record, I also don't agree with his views on cricket.

That was sobering, Citanul ...
Although on a lighter note ... you almost sound like a fellow cricket fan ...
