Has anyone noticed that Menswear's 'sister thread' Coolest Looking Artist or Group has less views and replies? Human nature is interesting, isn't it?!!

I felt that any male posting on the "Good Looking" thread was subject to harrassment and secretly wears panty-hose under his trousers.
Something's are best kept secret.

Mine too. Cool that your wife knows who he is!!!
I was watching the Tokyo Dream concert (I have it on VHS) and my wife walks in and cringes.... I did tell her that I'd give up my lady-killer looks to play guitar like him.... in a heartbeat.
She laughed?????
hmmm Maybe that wouldn't be an even trade, eh?

On the back of the LP version of The New Tony Williams Lifetime - Believe It, Allan TOTALLY looks like Gomer Pyle with longer hair, I kid you not!

People are puzzled why I don't dig the Stones, well, I listened to the Stones, I tried, and I tried, and I tried, and--I Can't Get No Satisfaction!

Has anyone EVER seen a photo of Steve Howe that actually looked cool? |
YIKES!!! Steve Howe looks like The Crypt Keeper!
Over on Progressive Ears, many have this long running joke about Steve having a disease known as Terminal Yes Face

I've got it, errr, had it and yes, Allan could have been a stand in for GP.... Poor guy. I love the interviews on the Tokyo Dream video where his one eye kind of wanders on it's own.
Ugly as sin, plays guitar like a genius, writes music that MOST people can't comprehend and slams beer like it's being outlawed tomorrow. Who could ask for more?

That was fun, I enjoyed looking through all those photos!!
However, I think that Dave Lambert of the Strawbs is really sexy and his voice and guitar playing are out of this world, just wish Dave Cousins would let him do more of the singing

I think Dave Cousins learned his lesson when he let Hudson-Ford do the singing, and they came up with "Part of the union"!
I agree Lambert has a good voice (can't say I find him sexy!), but Cousins is the sound of the Strawbs.

If you think Prog' musicians are not good looking, REMEMBER HIM

Steve Howe is not a good looking guy, but at least he looks human.

But in this case, Who is who?

Has anyone else noticed how Howe looks like Elrond from the film version of Lord of the Rings in pictures like that one?

LOOKS AND PROG MUSICIANS ARE NOT RELATED... BELIEVE ME, MUSIC IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LOOKS
OK, WE LIKE TO SEE SOMEONE "CUTE" OR HANDSOME OR A "FASHION GUY", BUT I DON'T GIVE A S**T IF MY FAVORITE PLAYER LOOKS LIKE A MONSTER OR DRESS LIKE A GIRL IF HE PLAYS LIKE A GOD...

I do care a little bit what musicians look like.ie I would find it difficult to take Keith Emerson seriously if he walked on stage just wearing suspenders and a bra! Image plays a small part in prog although I agree that talent and ablity are by far the most important things.

What if Prince were a Prog Genius from 1973, prancing about in this knickers and fellating his guitar, while playing incredibly tricky time signatures?????
Would you still buy his music?

As this is my debut posting here, I should qualify this contribution...
GQ won't be calling ME for any photo shoots any time soon. So here's Nektar circa 2004 in Germany...
