Hey, it's not about talent but some prog artist really look like...like they need some help. LOL

The little 'it' that makes attractive people who they are is not always present in our prog world.

So...Who do you think looks the worst? It's fun! Try it!Tongue

Triumvirat---Big winner! I mean, come on, try to smile at least! Whof! Nothing could ever help those guys.

Rick Van Der Linden----Trace    Man, that beard and the hair, makes his head looking like it weights at friggin' ton.

Gong---Gong   Man, talk about not caring about hygene. I wonder what deseases were found in that band.

It's not in a mean way but it's really fun!! Try it!!

Menswear, you're not wrong about Triumvirat. Handsome bunch of guys: http://www.triumvirat.net/images/gallery/4-3.jpg

Some of the photos in the booklets with the 2002 re-releases are a real laugh.

Mine too. Cool that your wife knows who he is!!!

I was watching the Tokyo Dream concert (I have it on VHS) and my wife walks in and cringes.... I did tell her that I'd give up my lady-killer looks to play guitar like him.... in a heartbeat.

She laughed?????

hmmm Maybe that wouldn't be an even trade, eh?

Look at the pictures on the cover of Queensrÿche's Rage for Order. They all look like a bunch of freaking dragqueens.

Btw. I thought being ugly was one of the main reasons for becoming a progartist instead of a mainstream artist.

I think will I nominate IQ, Marillion and Pendragon

JESUS! Is that Steve Howe? What an awful picture!

I think I would nominate THE STRAWBS! Does anyone know the picture on the back of the LP Hero And Heroine? Very funny!

non-progressive: TWISTED SISTER and MÖTLEY CRÜE

That's a studio shot - he must have looked through the results of the session & thought "Hmmm, that's a good shot - we'll use that one"

God knows what the rest were like!

Wonderful photo, Radioactive Toy! Although it's a bit unfair to consider the artists in the old age! However, if that's in Menswear's rules, then this other recent photo of Howe - which also shows those two other good looking Prog artists Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman - is even better (more shocking!)

Keith Emerson looks as though his dentures have slipped.

Has anyone EVER seen a photo of Steve Howe that actually looked cool?

Rick doesn't look that bad. Keith's just aging more gracefully!

Look at this guys, believe it ot not they are Focus, Thijs Van Leer looks as a grandpa even though he's only 56, Jan Dumée an excelent guitar player with a Gilligan hat, but not exactly an adonis . Bobby Jacobs on Bass is Thijs step son.

But who cares about the looks, the class lasts for ever.
