People are puzzled why I don't dig the Stones, well, I listened to the Stones, I tried, and I tried, and I tried, and--I Can't Get No Satisfaction!

Great list. I can relate to at least seven of them.

Maybe we can add some more?

You know you're a PROG fan when:

1. Your computer desk-top is a Roger Dean painting.

2. You name your pets after the members of Magma.

3. You own a pair of ELP "Love Beach" jogging shorts.

4. When every drawer of your desk at work is filled with stuff you downloaded from the Prgoarchives web-site.

5. When you hang a Roger Dean lithograph in your office because you don't have a window.

6. When you have no real understanding of what people are talking about concerning American Idol.

7. All the "Favorites" on your computer have the word "prog" in the title.

Anyone else?

Just read The Owl's list and this one made me laugh:

Your girlfriend, when being taken to an Allan Holdsworth gig says, "Honey, I thought we were going to see Hall & Oates!!"

A few years ago Rick Wakeman played the same night than a romantic singer (who's name I don't even remember), and I told my Girlfriend, I have a surprise, tickets for tonight's concert.

When we reached the concert hall she looked at me and said, hey you big piece of sh*t, you brought me to see your weird artists instead of ______.

But even though the concert didn't started until 1:00 am (Wakeman was in Perú but his keyboards in Paraguay due to a mistaken IATTA code -Pe with Pa-)  she loved the concert and became a moderate prog' fan, after a few months we ended and a couple of years ago she married, her husband (A Bee Gees ex fan) hates me.

It's funny how this music we love is referred to as "Your Music"  or "Dan's Music" or "That wierd sh*t you listen to" by others, even the loves we love.
