OK, i have only heard Abandoned Launchenette by them.  I think it is an amazing album, for the most part...very overlooked.

I love that early 70's sound they had, any of their other albums any good?  Let me know, and recommend some others...i also love bare trees/future games by Fleetwood Mac!

H&O had some good moments, but check out Daryl Hall's solo album, Sacred Songs. It's got a few familiar names for proggers.

I thought Hall & Oates were dead cool...when I was 12...
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Hall & Oates were brilliant at what they did, despite their rather iffy image, but a decent compilation is probably all you need - as James Lee said, they had good moments but they weren't a great albums act.
