I however, am 37 and, with 1300 posts to my name, evidently have far too much time on my hands... ...(but who's counting... )

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I am in that age group as well (18). I even like the older stuff
more than the newer stuff. So, I guess what they say about the
youth of today isnt entirely true . I just like good music, and that music happens to be mostly prog!

Maani has set up a poll to monitor the age of visitors to this site. I'm just amazed - and pleasantly suprised - that far and away the largest number are in the 15 - 20 age group. I mean, by a mile. I just assumed that most would be older even if not quite in my 40 - 45 age group, it's just that when I think prog I think (to start with anyhow) of the 70's bands of my youth.
One thing this site has done though is introduce me to more recent prog (Dream Theater, The Mars Volta, Tool, for instance).
Any comments on the age range.....?
