Have to go with Ziggy, with Hunky Dory second and Aladdin Sane third ... my favourite song though is Space Oddity ... what a masterpiece!
"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

Space Oddity and I stop at TMWSTW.
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Heroes does it for me, just nudging out Low and Scary Monsters. Pretty much everything up to Let's Dance is worth owning, but there hasn't been much good stuff since.
'Like so many of you
I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

Robert Wyatt, Gloria Gloom

Low is half an instrumental with mostly Brian Eno influences. Awesome stuff.

Actually now that I think of it, Heroes and Low are basically pure prog records. Both had Brian Eno and some stellar arrangement and experimentation, and Heroes had Doctor Fripp. Good Stuff.
