Yep it is a boring album with tunes that bores me to tears...Gha you are from sweden i wonder why norwegians not got any good prog albums.

Actually, Norway has one of the largest Progressive Metal scenes in the world.

Seems you have a rudimentary understanding of things and you divide music into what you like and POP, well, that isn't true, your opinion is only valid for you (especially in this case), Genesis or Yes may be simpler and more melodic than RIO but there's no connection between Symphonic Prog' and POP

And who the f**k are you to define what's a time classic and what's not? A thing to be good must be a masterpiece, a true classic?

There you go again, I will try to explain it very simple and step by step so that even you will understand it:

1.- According to the dictionary, Classic means: TRADITIONAL, ENDURING

2.- In a musical world where the artists appear and vanish in a lapse of months or at the most in a couple of years, a musician or a band remembered after 30 years or more is a classic, I don't give them that status, they earned it.

BTW: I didn't say Time Classic, I mentioned the test of time, something that I explained before but seems you can't understand it, keep trying.

All have boring sing along and easy assimilation passages. Only the fans of progressive rock know Novalis today, but they're miles ahead Yes or Genesis. And, be sure, nobody besides prog fans remember IQ or Pendragon or any crap Neo-Prog band today. If you doubt, go out on the streets and make a poll.

Boring for you, but interesting for many others, I don't think that Novalis is far ahead Yes or Genesis, but it's a matter of taste.

One question, does something has to be complex and hard to listen to be good?

Symphonic is sing along? Would love to see you trying to "sing along" Supper's Ready, Battle for the Epping Forest or In the Cage.

About Neo Prog, everybody here knows Neo is not my cup of tea, but who do you want to remember Pendragon except the progheads, the salsa or the rap fans? 

It's logical that only Progressive fans will remember this band, and what about it? What's your point?

Now about your street poll I couldn't care less for music people listens in the street, that's why I am writing in a PROGRESSIVE ROCK FORUM and not in a POP forum.

BTW: People in the street don't know either who Fantomas are, and this doesn't mean they are bad.

A thing don't need to be remembered by everyone to be eternal. If one person remembers it, god, it will always be eternal.

Well, interesting point of view, but is wrong again, because if only one person remembers something, that person will eventualy die and that band or thing will be forgotten forever, but this is philosophy, something that's beyond your understanding.

I don't believe Prog' will last forever, but it has already buried a lot of other popular genres that appeared and disapeared like magic, and this again means something.

I'm not insulted when people don't like the music I like, I lived the last 27 years surrounded by people that hate, don't care about or simply ignore Prog', how could I get angry with the whole world, but you're trying to convince all of us that what you like is good and what the vast majority in this forum likes is crap (In your own words), who is childish?

I always discuss with Threefates because her dislike for Genesis, but respect her opinion, because she never insulted our taste, your case is different, you don't say I don't like Yes or Genesis, you just say it's crap, cheesy of POP.

Do you want me to make a list of artists that I like? You don't know me, and keep on saying that I like only a few bands. That's comprehensible, you might only know the bands that I don't like. You're wrong... "We"? Who the f**k are you to speak in "we" condition? If you know only a few bands, you can't generalize that. Again, if one person reminds the legacy of an artists, than it's remembered.

I'm talking as a member of a progressive forum, have you read how many good reviews about early Genesis or Yes albums are? Have you read how many are about Fantomas.....So yes I can talk in first person plural.

Just to end, I never said Fantomas is bad, by the contrary, I believe they are good, I was writing about this band long before you joined the forum and before they were included:

So you see, I never said anything bad about this band, All this thread has started because you srtarted to insult what most of us like.
