This looks rather tasty

The Boomkat write up reads

The name that brought electronic music to the masses. A compelling documentary portrait of Robert Moog - “the father of all things electronica” Robert Moog has been inventing and building electronic musical instruments for nearly half a century. Still active in his workshop in rural North Carolina, Moog continues to shape musical culture with some of the most inspiring instruments ever created. The film was shot on location in Asheville, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tokyo and London, featuring appearances by Stereolab, Money Mark, Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Jean-Jacques Perrey & Luke Vibert, Walter Sear, Gershon Kinsgley, DJ Spooky, Herb Deutsch, Bernie Worrell, Pamelia Kurstin, Tino Corp with Charlie Clouser, Mixmaster Mike and an eclectic mix of performers. Amazing film.

...i always thought that Dr. Robert Moog's famous last name was pronounced like a cow "moo" + g
i was wrong...check this out: [from wikipedia]

The surname Moog is one of the most frequently mispronounced names in popular culture. The following interview excerpt reveals the correct pronunciation:

— Reviewer: First off: Does your name rhyme with "vogue" or is like a cow’s "moo" plus a "G" at the end?
— Dr. Robert Moog: It rhymes with vogue. That is the usual German pronunciation. My father's grandfather came from Marburg, Germany. I like the way that pronunciation sounds better than the way the cow's "moo-g" sounds.

In a deleted scene from the DVD version of the documentary Moog, Moog describes the three pronunciations of the name Moog: the original, Dutch pronunciation ("moch"), the later, German pronunciation (the preferred, rhymes with vogue), and the more common pronunciation in English-speaking countries (with the long /ü/ sound). Moog reveals that different parts of his family prefer different pronunciations of the name, but he (and most certainly his wife) prefers the German pronunciation.

hmmm...very interesting
