a military air force base.

today for example, all i've heard all day long is very very loud engine noise - mostly jet-type, coming from several different types of aircraft.

sometimes they fly over my house so low i can see the oil and exhaust stains on the underside of the cowling.

I bet Area 51 has pink floyd and genesis EACH OTHERS best tunes constantly in their classic lineups.

Or we could just believe in all the flying saucer crap!

not just air force, but also marine corps air stations are no fun either, for the same reasons you describe, plus the fact that the intelligence quotient of the average marine is far under that of the average cadet

I thought Prog Archive was Area 51?

The only place I know where you will see Tony R. performing alien autopsies.

There are things much worse than engines: for 10 years I lived by a military base. Young privates learning to play the bugle were sent away, to a corner of the base, to practise... JUST BELOW MY WINDOW!!!

I spent four years in the Air Force. I used to have to work security around the alert aircraft and hide behind a "blast shield" when they fired those puppies up. Talk about Earshplittinlowedenbomber. Holy f**k, I think my hearing is still screwed up from that portion of my life. I live five miles from an old AFB. It closed about 12 years ago, but i remember the constant noise.

A few years ago, the backyard of my old house faced an elementary school playground. I worked night shift, and those little bastards SCREAMED continuously while on recess. The don't put 'em all out at once to get the noise over with, noooo, they rotate groups of 500 every hour and half. A whole new group of little bastards would come screaming each time I finally pulled myself into dreamland. I spent a year on that shift and I was one grumpy prick. I bet half of those little screaming bastards are criminals now. Serves 'em right.

Dr. James Lee prepares for the autopsy by rehearsing a Riverdance jig to loosen his ankle joints.

Tony R gets caught snacking on the hambone of an alien crash victim. Tony is reported to have said, "Tastes just like chicken."

I can think of a couple useful things to do with one of those! For the sake of the meek so they can inherit the Earth (in not too bad a shape)

Yes, that's right! I totally forgot about that! Maybe Utah_Man should use 'Mariah-missiles', Vibrationbaby is immune for those.

Regarding Mariah missiles , I'd love to spend a night with her in bed ! She must be a real sexual bomb! I'd screw some musical taste into that woman!

That was a bit easy , but you presented me the occasion for that one.

With searching head missiles , this should not be a problem , slight over-cost but if you can afford the stuff.

Just to be sure , do it from your neighbor's lawn. He probably listen to crappy disco , anyway!!!
