OK pals, since we have a couple of threads running in the main discussions section, I've chosen what seem to be the three most liked albums by Genesis and Yes: let's put them to a fight!!!

And yes, I know, before you do it, I'll tell you that:

- Tales of Topographic Oceans should be in the poll

- I should have included Thick as a Brick

- Dream Theater and/or ELP are the best ever

- ABACAB is by far the best Genesis album

- Etc etc...

Oh, by the way, first vote is for Selling England...

My guess is that CTTE wins because Genesis votes are likely to spread more evenly.

Also 2nd vote to SELLING.

Well, I'm not so sure. Here's the 3d vote for Selling. Great  album!

But all the albums mentioned above are fantastic.

Oops, at the ,moment it's only the three of us against 26 votes for Yes... I'm afraid we'll lose this time...

CTTE. It's the best Yes album, and Foxtrot is the best Genesis work, and CTTE beats it by a bit.

The biggest defeat since 1588, when we Spaniards sent our Army to those bloody Brits to give them what they deserved, and half of our ships where sank by bad weather, and the other half by the bloody Brits...

Something like this:

Oh, by the way: a conversation heard by myself in Westminster Abbey in London to a Spanish couple: "oh, look darling, the grave of Elizabeth I... I guess this was the mother of Elisabeth II". No need to say I didn't understand or speak any Spanish at that moment...

Foxtrot

Fragile is close though

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Well, it's logical: Foxtrot covers are about Brits hunting the fox and this picture is about Brits hunting the few Spanish ships still floating

Bit spooky this. I am downloading Selling into my mp3 as we speak. I started the process before I found this thread. Needless to say Selling got my vote as I would have voted for it anyway

Okay, Matti, your prognosis was accurate  .

CCTE seems to be the record that cannot be beaten.
