Topic: Progresivo en Mexico Posted: May 23 2005 at 12:46 |

I Love Via Lactea, Loch Ness & Frolic Froth...
Who started...?
Maybe La Revolucion de Emiliano Zapata or Toncho Pilatos...

IMO the best mexican progressive band wich is also like marillion and rush, a neoprogressive pioneer is CAST

Yes, I believe too that Cast is a great band and pioneer of the neo, but is cuestion of inclinations and I prefer things but experimental as cabezas de cera or symphonics like iconoclasta, certainly a new and good band is elfonia!

Hello hombres,
I'm aware of Iconoclasta, Codice, Kromlech, Cabezas de Cera and J.L
Fernandez Ledesma Q. Can't think of more right now. Cast is something
i'm not interested coz it's neo.
What do you guys think of Kromlech? Do you know if the band is still active?
Memo, what kind of stuff is Elfonia?

Hi i´m from mexico d.f.
Elfonia is a new band, they nave only 1 album, but this album is full of great harmonizations as much folk as metal, if could compare it serious with mostly autumn.

Yes, sadly in mexico the people believes that mana, cafe tacuba and moderatto are bands of good rock, to be good popular bands, but unfortunately the good rock done by good musicians really is not recognized neither known.
