I’ll have to concur with you Vibe (I’ll call you that for short and if it’s o.k. with you) since Pink Floyd is my favorite band… My first approach to prog rock happened back then when I was barely 12 years old and “ Dark side of the Moon ” came to my hands, there I knew they were going to be my heroes and despite the breaking up, I think of them as a part of what I am today… It’d be a great moment within Prog to set those monsters back on stage performing, getting along, creating something brand new, something different to what we have listened to from PF so far…

UNFORTUNATELY i DO NOT THINK IT WILL EVER HAPPEN. GILMOUR AND WATERS HATE EACH OTHERS GUTS.

Anything could happen. The passing years might mellow Waters and Gilmour out.

There are lots of groups where the band members can't stand each other yet they are able to carry on. When I referred to Waters and Gilmour I didn't intend that the MUSIC should mellow out, rather that their animosity toward each other should mellow out.

I think this is pretty much it: people would like to see a "for the old times get back" gathering with Gilmour and Waters and the other one Gabriel, Collins, and the rest of the boys... I still think Fish can patch things up with the former Marillion members and kick Mr. "H" out (nothing personal, I just happen to like Fish's era better) to bring out a great last prog album!

Rumours are abounding within the pages of various music magazines of a full pre-1975 Genesis re-union, as are similar rumours regarding one last Pink Floyd tour with Waters......
Such rumours may only be wishful thinking, but what if...........

Personally, I'd love to hear the old Bruford band together again.
Bill Bruford
Allan Holdsworth
Jeff Berlin
Dave Stewart
They are all still around, so why not?
UK would be cool, too. I heard Wetton's kind of, er.... not really up to par? Too bad, maybe if Jack Bruce is back to good after his liver transplant, he'd stand in and kick our arses, eh? I know Allan wants to do more Prog music and Jobson lives in So. California, as does Holdsworth. Who knows. It could happen.

Due Bill Bruford's versatility, he might as well could get together with any former band he's been part of, huh? I drink to that dan! Bring Bruford back (one of my top favorite drummers by the way...)

of these five i have to say GENESIS, but to be honest, what about Jethro Tull, Return To Forever, Mahavishnu Orchestra etc ????? or the lost band CYNIC? in any case, the genesis reunion wasn´t that bad

I agree Danbo. How about the 73-74 Crimson?
