Anyone like this band I've recently discovered their album Contraband - "Falling Down" and "Illegal i Song" are good , band includes Scott Wieland (Vocals-ex Stone Temple Pilots), Duff McKagen (Bass-ex Guns N Roses) and Slash (Guitar-also ex Guns N Roses).

I'm not a fan.  I steer clear of bands with links to G 'N' R, as a general rule - unless I can be convinced otherwise, but I've heard some their songs and I didn't really like them.

Yeah I wasn't too fussed on Velvet Revolver either- I thought it was fairly generic hard rock, with nothing really innovative.

I wasn't too impressed with Velvet Revolver. For all the hype, I thought they would be good. I think Slash is a highly-overrated guitarist, though the top-hot is cool...I guess.

And I thought I hated them! I thought both STP and GnR were severely overrated ... and there must be a 1,000 bands more interesting than Velvet Revolver. BTW, this is nothing to do with the bad music, but does anyone else suffer from a strong dislike of the sight of Scott Weiland dancing? I just can't stand it although my version of his twisted dancing during the Sour Girl video is guaranteed to get a laugh ...
