New on this. Love the music of this genre. This new Sufran Stevens has a lot of of Genesis influence.

It's Sufjan Stevens. I've heard good things about it, but I haven't personally listened to it, mostly because all the raving Pitchfork and the local scene kids have been doing about it has really put me off.

BTW, this should probably be in the Non-Prog Music Lounge.

Ugh

I try to avoid music that pitchfork readers/scene kids listen too. I just bought The Killers Hot Fuss limited edition to spite my scene kid friends. That said, Sufjan Stevens is pretty decent,  and the scenesters will drop them like a bad habit once they start selling his albums at Best Buy
