I`m proud to be Pole aren`t you? We are not strange it just that the rest of the world doesn`t undrestand us. I think this is better than another poll about: who has the longest hair or do you shave your legs...

None of the above. I vote for the comics of Benoît Sokal. His hero Canardo
is a private duck (yes, no typo, look at the pic below) in the vein of
Humphrey Bogart. The stories are weird and sometimes very gorey, but
there is a strange human touch in them nevertheless. He is a tragic
hero too because he is hopelessly in love with his arch-enemy.

Wolverine. You should have heard his old debut album "And then there
were three... blades per hand." He was the lead singer. (no duh.) It
was in 1979. For the recording of the instruments he got Storm on
keybord, Scott Summers on Bass, and Night Crawlers on Guitar. I'll get
to the drums later, Jean Grey, Mystique, and Shadowcat where on backing
vocals. Scott summers decided to go on with the stage name "Cyclops."
The band, officially formed in 1980 as a band not as a recording on
Wolverines album, was titled "Genesis of the Pink X-Men who played with
styx." After public bashing of clear name rip- er- influences they
decided to shorten it to X-Men. The album by wolverine was great on
it's own, but the editing in the studio led by Professer X really made
it Uniqe. But "Docta' W" (George W. Bush) did not feel that his vocal
talent was being exspressed on the bands first album, "Birth of the
Yellow people who played with Sticks."
This one was even better with the editing of Magneto, after Prof. X
decided to come up with a school that he would get freinds to do
everything for him and he'd sit around a teach one class and get payed.
He decided the school would be for freeks because he could purswade
parents to beleive they were all right with his mind control.
But then Catastrophie struck. Wolverine had amnesia. He had to leave
the band. Then the band needed to find a drummer and a vocalist. Even
worse, Cyclops sunglass's broke after a horrific papparazzi accident.
Without thinking, Cyclops opened his eyes and hit his left hand. He
could no longer play bass! Magneto then shut down his record company
due to horrible pay. Mystique followed him because he was comming out
with a book on "The art of Metal." And he wanted her on the cover. For
unknown resonsons, she did not come back. Jean Grey learned to play
drums so she coverd that, and night crawler recorded the bass.
Shadowcat was kicked out for arguements with the band.
There next album "Wow, life sucks" sold great but ultimitly made Jean
Grey quit. She recently announced it was because the songs where either
to Blasphemous or to religous, and she was not into that.
But by that time it was the mid 80's and computers could record drums,
so there was no problem. But then Night Crawler said it was to
Blasphemous as well, so he quit. Storm got her posse to join the band
There album "The only thing that could make life worse is if I quit now
and the others formed a preppy band that later changed to another style
of rock" sold pretty cruddy. So storm quit seeing the album sales. The
rest of the band saw they couldn't live out the legacy so they formed
there own band that was called "Green day." You know what happend with
them.
Cyclops, Storm, Gene Grey, And Professer X started a school to teach
mutants how to use their powers. Wolverine became a wanderer. Night
Crawler went to join a group of religous monks, and Magneto along with
Mystique began the human/mutant war. (Long story, relating back to that
papparazzi accident.) Oh, and Shadowcat went to the same school Prof.
X. made.
We know where bush went.

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”
"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."
