Everybody knows about the wall the movie, and i heard about marillion's brave  but i didnt see it  , what do you think of them and of that whole movie thing?, did any other bands make any movies like them??

Not that I know... but I do find several movies quite proggy! For instance, my favorite movie, Stanley Kubrick's "A clockwork orange" or "Midnight Cowboy" with Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman...

No No, i meant movies performed by music bands from a to z, like the wall and yellow submarine by beatles? i just wanna know did any other band made movies like that?

In that case:

Liztomania: Music by Rick Wakeman, performed by Roger Daltrey.

Tommy: Mention again because it's performed totally by The Who, and even it's not an a to z band, the album is 90% prog.

Quadrophenia: Film made in 1979, idem Tommy comment.

Jesus Christ Superstar: Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice are not drom the a to z list, but I can swear J.C.S. has a lot of progressive elements.

Blade Runner: Not a rock Opera, but an excellent soundtrack by Evengelio Odsiseus Papathanassiou .aka. Vangelis. Also the movie is very progressive in the same sense someone mentioned Clockwork Orange before.

Ok, think of PINK FLOYD whenever you watch:

"The Valley" - Obscured by Clouds

"More" - from the "More" album and

"Zabriskie Point" - most of the OST arranged and provided by Pink Floyd, including two special compositions for the same purpose by Rick Wright

I dunno if you’re trying to recall the great 70’s Italian symphonic progressive rock band GOBLIN. They actually performed several Original Sound Tracks for Argento’s movies, and those films are:

- Non Ho Sonno

- Phenomena / Creepers

- Profondo Rosso / Deep Red ( Goblin and Giorgio Glasini )

- Suspira

- Tenebre

- The best of Goblin ( What a treat this double CD pack is! The first disc contains a selection of Goblin tracks from Dario Argento movies and the second, a previously unreleased rare recording of a live Goblin concert from 1979! )
