This is a thread for people who are currently not in a band, and thus really have little to contribute to this section of the forum. It dosen't matter if you want to be in a band or if you prefer just jamming by yourself. SHARE THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SHARE!!

This is my new favorite thread.

I'll be the first to say, that I am in a band that hasn't played together in 6 months. Right now, I'm working on an instrumental that is topping in the 16 minute range right now (I'm still working on riffs and solos).

Even though your "band" is really non-existant anymore, you still plugged something.

Whoa whoa whoa...you've overstepped the boundries of this thread. This is not a "let's get a band together" thread. No more of this...thank you.

Instead of getting a band together, let's do psychedelic music in a following way:

First drummer records percussion track, wav file is sent via messenger (f.ex.) to

Bassist, who does his thing, then

what ever, guitar, keyboards, saxophones?

I guess they should be recorded digitally, for not having too many layer fuzz. There was an idea of this kind for recording cover songs, but if we would just separately improvise at home from some scales, it might be easier to make something out.

I can play bass, keyboards and make weird noises!

I noticed that that musicans are rarely serious record collectors and serious record collectors are rarely musicians

I'd like it to be known that I have absolutely nothing at all to contribute or share.
