Topic: Primiera Division 05/06 Posted: August 17 2005 at 12:43 |
I think Primiera Division is the strongest league in the world. And the
new Champion will be Real Madrid. Thanks Logos for inspiration

I don't see any Spanish football matches in Finland - none of the channels I have ( not even Canal+ , they just show British and Italian football , damnit) show Spanish football! So I don't really know anything about the league.
I still vote Real Madrid. Could be Barcelona also. Don't really believe in Valencia or Deportivo. They were top notch clubs a few years back, but they're not really that good anymore, are they?

No
but I think Villarreal and Atletico Madrid could be a great sensation.
Villareal have the great duet - Riquelme-Forlan and Atletico bought
Kezman and a couple of other players as well.
Canal + in Poland shows spanish league quite often so the solution is quite easy: move to Poland
Hey, we won with Israel just a couple minutes ago! And winning with Serbia&Montenegro on Monday we won the Lobanovski Tournament on Ukraine! Now we just got to beat Wales and Austria and WC Germany 2006 is ours!

I just don't enjoy watching La Liga that much... I think there are just a couple of team that have got all the great players (with a huge surplus of them warming up the bench during every match...) leaving the rest of the teams ranking low and with no oportunity to pick up from the bottom. I also think this season's cup would be held high again either by Barca or Real Madrid as usual...
Anybody up for Premiere League or Calcio?

Real will do it this season. I think they've got a great squad who will actually work together this time around. Barca will put up a strong fight though. Would be great to see someone Valencia or another team winning it though.

Real Madrid for me ... even though the winners will probably come from the big two, I enjoy the depth of the Spanish league ... aside from the seven teams that you mentioned, Athletic Bilbao can hammer anyone on their day, Real Sociedad and Espanyol have some very nice players ... a great league

How can you even doubt? Barcelona will be the champion. There's no question about it. Madrid sucks!
