Why does Robert Fripp never smile?

Never forget where you came from, especially if it's of any lasting value and high quality.

so your telling me the schizoids arent in it for the money? Remembering the past is not only good, but important. Whereas capitalizing on nostalgia is dull.

I'd still love to see them since I am only 17 and they are the closest I'll ever come to seeing King Crimson.  I cannot stand modern Crimson anyway (especially how they wont play their oldies for their fans - their PRIME MATERIAL).  At this point its just a name.

What does it matter what Fripp's personality is like? There's plenty of people who will give you pleasant company, but not many who are capable of something like "Starless".

Just because someone has touched you with their music (or films, or artwork, or literature) doesn't mean they're any more likely to be pleasant, or wise, or virtuous (or good in bed, even...am I right? ).

In The Wake  Of  Poison, was the original title of the second album.

I wonder if Fripp is smiling now? In this case maybe it was just a trouser smile?

Ah yes, thank you gdub! This proves that us prog-rockers can laugh and not take things so seriously all of the time as we sometimes do and are accussed of. By the way I didn't know that the English knew what burritos were in 1969? Are you sure it wasn't the Indian food? Lots of veggies ya know!
