Since I have absolutely no way of telling whether the original post of this thread contains a question or not, I will answer that question.

Supposedly, what is referred to as Maudlin (and ever so often by DT fans, I guess) is in fact the dubios wanton destruction of 'Maudlin of the Well'

A band, that is.

If the original post contained no question, Peter, I hope this answers the question not ousted.

Cheers

-Beau

I tried to epibrate the meaning of the word Maudlin from the various context I've seen it in, but it's meaning still eludes me

Maudlin? That was that really tall old lady with a man's voice that used to show up on All in the Family every once in a while, right?

The writing says:

To Tony R,

You rocked my world in 1975.

Yours trully, Maude

I thought of the band Maudlin of the Well, but then I realized that this thread had been started by a man who would have every progressive metal musican exterminated if it were up to him...

Well, she's older in that pic, and deprived of makeup and sympathetic lighting in a dungeon.Stern Smile

I never saw the attraction to Barbeau...well, that's not true, I understood the attraction (boobies!) but didn't share it. Elvira, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver- also scream queens for which I could never quite summon the requistite lust.

Now Hammer Studios, on the other hand, seemed to excel at finding the perfect horror bimbos for me.
