I'm from Holland and Kansas is one of my favourites together with Yes. Unfortunately I'm one of the few fans here and I guess that's also why they don't give many shows in Europe :((((((

They played over a month there this year.  France and Germany got a lot of shows although they also played here:

Try Song for America too.  If you like both of those then try Masque the Self Titled first album and Somewhere to Elsewhere.

Song for America ('75)
Masque ('75)
Leftoverture ('76)
Point of Know Return ('77)

are all really good. They're definately American and they can really pull out a good hard rockin' song or an interesting prog epic. Some of their songs are really touching with really tasteful lyrics.
