I'm trying to collect Jethro Tull vinyls, but I'm not sure when they stopped putting them on vinyl and went to CD. Any help here?

I should think that the first album that got a direct CD release would be Crest of Knave. In UK I am quite sure that every original studio album in the 90's and on got vinyl releases album .  But unless a vinyl fanatic , I would not see the point in buying those.

I have the vinyls still of some 7 Tull albums including TAAB! I had many more but either swaped them or got lost!

What's important is to get analog vynil.

YES!! Stuff that has been digitally remastered is only a quantization. If it is put back to vinyl after this remastering, the quality is actually worse than CD because it is quantized AND subject to crackle and pop of vinyl. If the master tape is never dealt with digitally and is kept on analog media, at that time you will get the best sound possible.

Yes, numeric vynils can be worst than Cd, but in my opinion, it's not due to cracks. I think it's due to the lack of care of the people who do the transfer.
However, there are a few numeric vynils which sound better than the same CD.
Ther's no absolute rule.
It's the same with pre-recorded k7.
The analog ones are far better than the numeric, but from times to times you can find a good numeric one.
A friend of mine recently bought old (but new) numeric ECM jazz k7, and the sound is excellent, despite it's numeric.
