   I've been reading Prog Archives for some time now and just got the time and courage to register.

When I was young I used to be a 'MTV kid'. I liked a lot of the 80's
Genesis. (This was the time when they still played Genesis on MTV.)
Eventually I bought some of the older Genesis albums too and noticed
that they were even better than the 80's albums. I also got to know
that this was called 'prog' style. This led me to other classic prog
bands, such as Pink Floyd and Jethro Tull.

My favourite prog bands include Genesis, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant,
King Crimson, Frank Zappa and many more. I like a lot of prog metal
too, such as Dream Theater, Symphony X, Therion, Angra and Rhapsody.

Lately I've started listening to classic Italian prog like PFM and
Banco Del Mutuo Soccorco. Just found Magma too, all thanks to Prog
Archives!

Looking foward to make a lot of new discoveries!
