Yes, i can't tell you it will good on yours cause i've not made the test, but it will probably works, yes.
It will rigidifies the speakers and cancel vibrations.
A good stand filled with sand and on points is recommended, also to screw your speakers on it.

Is it recommended to put heavy weights on speakers ?.I can see the need for solid stands but won't weight on top affect acoustics/resonance ?. I have a pair of Quad 11L's btw, mid range but I am happy with them.

Great
My former (and first real spaekers) was 731 pro
Now i have m71i which is stil better screw on atacama stands nexus 7 filled with sand, and had 7 kg on each.
Wonder if i will replace it by a pair of top bookshelf Mission volare or a pair of JBL 4312...

I'm not rich, but the best in the class I could afford were my Mission 700 series speakers. I trawled Google, but couldn't find my exact ones - below are the 701's, which are decent enough for cheap speakers.
Mine are identical, except that they're twice the depth, half as tall again, and have a bass port below the tweeter. And they're rated at 150 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms, 30Hz - 20Khz.
The only issue I have with them is that the bass is on the boomy side if you don't put them on stands (which is where they ought to be!), and the treble not quite as crisp as I'd like.
Still, as a bass player, I prefer bass to err on the heavy side

Hello, welcome in the forum
Well said...
Our friend Karnevil9 has strange tastes...
For example, he prefers a Naka Dragon over a 1000zxl.
Or he says that wbt connects are not the best...
that i will burn the output transfo of my tube amp if i play rock on it, etc...and he claims to be an expert
BTW, i have Missions too, interesting to upgrade to the "biggest" little Volare bookshelf.
What is yours?
Is it standfloor or bookshelf?

I inherited a pair of Isobariks - horrible, coloured and with a slow, boomy bass. Sold them and bought a pair of Mission 753 Freedoms which are everything the Linns weren't.

Among your list, i don't know well Energy.
Kef are good for sub, but average for speakers.
The others are all good, except Bose of course!
