How about this one:

This one is a mock-up of a translated review:

RUSH Feedback (EP)
Review (Permanent link) by Rooibos @ 4:48:05 PM EST, 10/10/2004

2 stars  —  Dees album being faut the makers of lists only. The sounds usually created by instrumentation is of mean worth. An unanointed user of the organ of hearing will not like much this opus.It is not like the Cream or Yardbirds in similarity only.I can the two points of the light give it.

No translation tool would translate star as "point of light! nor ears as "the organ of hearing"

"It is "not  like"......in similarity only"....c'mon!!!!!!!

Besides "Rooibos" was/is my brother!

So I know his English is fine.

Expunge this one please Mr Roper.....

CAMEL Nude progressive rock album and reviews CAMEL - Nude (1981)
Review (Permanent link) by Erik Neuteboom @ 7:18:28 AM EST, 8/7/2005
SPECIAL COLLABORATION
1 stars  —   What a beautiful album and what a stunning story about that Japanese soldier! All songs sound very pleasant and melodic featuring some very warm vocals and inspired soli on guitar from Andy 'Mr. plastic face' Latimer. Mel Collins on saxophone and Duncan Mackay on keyboards deliver a great contribution to this album and Herbie Flowers (I have seen this funny man a few times with SKY) is on the list of guest musicians. Highlights are "Captured" and "Lies" but this whole album is serie of good songs, sometimes a bit polished but in general I like this album because of its warm atmosphere.

Not so much an abuse, as (I think) a simple mistake. The one star rating is not at all in agreement with the text.

Hopefully it is not a mistake!!!

Actually, I do not think Eric goes on the forum much (so the PM could stay unread for a while), so I'll mail this to him via normal e-mail!

He lives about an hour from my workplace and I am due to meet him early september for prog music exchanges!

Tony R, you have been attacked, see the latest Dream Theater 'reviews' on the mainpage. It's quite disgusting to ruin such a great site! Is it possible to ban IP addresses for a while?

Hi, I would be grateful if this stupid review could be removed - I am getting a lot of positive feedback about the CD but this kind of thing demeans what I am trying to to

Many thanks

YAK Dark Side Of The Duck
Review (Permanent link) by Harvey S. Beeswanger @ 12:43:34 PM EST, 8/1/2005

4 stars  —  In the course of my scholarly duties at the University of Bratislava (formerly Minsk College of Nugatory Arts), I was given a free copy of a CD called DARK SIDE OF THE DUCK by YAK and what a revelation it turned out to be! The inner section, round and silver, although at first a trivial plaything, has now found a permanent home between my ice box and the mangle, creating better dampcoursing and more plastic. The pictures and wording inside have proved of enormous benefit covering up one or other of my exhausts during difficult bathtimes.

For the technical among us, I have identified a retroflexive hinge on the dorsal flange and have stress-tested same.

ONLY FOUR STARS because my copy had a hole in it.

I would, however, like to praise Messrs Hodder, Wynn, Morgan and Snell for their photograph, which is a thing of beauty, though misunderstood by Mrs. Beeswanger.

Now for a feast!!!

I really enjoyed that review, it was funny, which I think is in line with the intention of the album title and cover, at least how I interpret it..

ONLY FOUR STARS because my copy had a hole in it.

Shame it is no longer

edit. btw since when are reviews being deleted because the artist opposes? expect some deleting when I start with reviewing ELP and mr Lake finds out
